LORNA STOVALL
Valladolid is a beautiful, sunny, colonial city in Mexico’s Yucatan State that feels relatively untouched by tourists. While visiting, I was drawn to how open the shops/businesses were to the world —literally—every door is open both day and night. People went on with their business as the world looked in. I found it a refreshing change of pace from American cities.
